Scorpion Vision has announced the launch of Pixelink's PL-B625C and PL-B625M cameras to its line of microscopy products.
The PL-B625 camera is available in both a FireWire and USB 2.0 interface, and includes the necessary software to interface with your camera.
It delivers image quality at five megapixel resolution (2592 x 1944).
The PL-B625 includes a flexible ROI, exposure, gain, brightness (black level offset) and frame-rate control settings.
It also includes on-board Flat Field Correction (FFC) to enhance image quality by eliminating camera FPN and PRNU, and illumination non-uniformities.
Using the Pixelink Capture SE software to control the camera settings, users can capture and save still images for annotation and measurements.
Paul Wilson of Scorpion Vision said: 'The PL-B625 sits nicely between the two current top models which offer maximum resolutions of 3.1 megapixels and 6.6 megapixels, and so this new model is priced accordingly.'
