The education manager at the Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) has been made an honorary member of the Bulgarian Association of Clinical Research (BACR).
Sue Fitzpatrick has been awarded the honorary membership following five years of clinical research training in Bulgaria, which has seen her train more than 75 per cent of the country's research community.
'I have visited Bulgaria more than a dozen times over the last five years and each time I have run at least one, if not two or three training courses,' said Sue Fitzpatrick.
'I feel very privileged to have been given this honorary membership and I look forward to carrying out further training in the future.'
