Supercritical Fluid Technologies has introduced the SFT-20 liquid carbon dioxide pump that delivers a high flow rate (200ml/min) without the need for external cooling baths.
The SFT-20 generates pressures up to 10,000psi (69MPa).
The pump utilises dual sapphire syringe pump technology to rapidly produce the high pressures required for supercritical fluid applications.
Building on the technology of the 24ml/min SFT-10 pump, the SFT-20 maximises high-capacity Peltier cooling to stabilise pump-head temperature.
This permits efficient compression even under high flow conditions.
The SFT-20 may be acquired as a standalone CO2 pump or as part of the new SFT-2000 Supercritical Fluid extractor.
