YSI (UK) has reached agreement with Mindray (a Chinese medical device manufacturer) for sales and support of the Mindray range of biochemistry analysers throughout the UK.
Mindray biochemistry analysers measure the concentration or activity of substances such as enzymes, proteins and substrates.
They may also be used as therapeutic drug monitors.
Typically, they are automatic low-throughput biochemistry analysers, designed to replace semi- automatic analysers in hospitals and laboratories.
Features of a typical Mindray biochemistry analyser, such as the BS-120, include: discreet, random access; fully automated; up to 100 tests per hour, 300 tests per hour with ISE; 26 onboard chemistries and four ions; automatic probe cleaning; liquid level detection and collision protection; compact dimensions with flexible sample and reagent racks; external barcode reader (optional) and bi-directional LIS interface; eight wavelengths: 340 - 670mm.
