The Pittsburgh Conference has released the topics for the conferee networking sessions (CNS) offered at the 60th annual Pittcon Conference and Exposition.
The conference will be held on 8-13 March 2009, at McCormick Place South, Chicago, Illinois.
There are currently 33 scheduled networking sessions, 19 of which are new and based on conferee recommendation, while 14 are returning.
Conferee networking sessions are an ideal way for instrument users to discuss techniques, methods, common problems and limitations of instruments and techniques used in their work.
These sessions, which average 18 participants per topic, also allow users and manufacturers ways to improve instruments.
Conferee networking sessions at Pittcon have been growing for the past three years and now include informal discussions on a variety of subjects such as biofuels, LIMS, regulatory compliance, lab safety and teaching.
Participation in the CNS is free to registered conferees and exhibitors, although seating is limited.
