Andor Technology has brought out a portable spectroscopic instrument that allows up to three times greater collection efficiency than standard Czerny-Turner spectrographs.
This instrument is dedicated to 1064nm Raman Spectroscopy.
It is based around the Andor iDus InGaAs detector array camera and Bayspec's high throughput Volume Phase Holographic Gratings (VPHG) spectrograph.
The instrument offers thermo-electric (TE) detector cooling down to -85C, USB2.0 plug and play connectivity, F/1.8 aperture and spectral resolution of 8 cm-1 and 3000 cm-1 spectral coverage.
It was demonstrated at this year's SPIE Optics + Photonics in San Diego, and FACSS in Reno, US.
