A pharmaceutical company has installed Lablogic's Debra Lims to dose cold, unlabelled compounds and design and prepare formulations and dosing.
Protocol information including sample barcodes will be passed to Thermo Fisher Scientific's Watson Lims and concentration data will be imported back to Debra.
As part of the implementation, Lablogic introduced a new treatment method with features for cassette dosing of multiple compounds.
Dosing of subjects by volume has been simplified and a new report will be added to summarise all clinical observations made in a study.
Huw Loaring, systems director at Lablogic, said: 'The company needed to replace an in-house program to manage its in-life group performing bioanalytical studies and found that Debra was an affordable match with its requirements.
'Many of our customers no longer perform in-house the ADME radio-labelled studies that Debra was originally developed for, but they are finding it sufficiently versatile to work with many different protocol types.'
