Strategic Test has released two 500 kS/s 16-bit data acquisition cards for PCI Express.
The UF2e-4731 has 16 analogue inputs and the UF2e-4730 has eight inputs.
Features include: options for dual-timebase sampling, synchronous digital inputs, asynchronous digital I/O and the ability to synchronise hundreds of channels.
The SBench 5.3 oscilloscope program comes with the card, as do drivers and programming examples for Microsoft Windows Vista, XP64, XP and Linux (Redhat, Fedora, Suse, Sarge).
SDKs for Matlab, Labview, Agilent-Vee, Dasylab and Labwindows/CVI are available as options.
Specifications include: 128 mega samples of memory, expandable to two giga samples; continuous streaming to host PC of > 120 mega samples > 14.4bits; a signal-to-noise ratio of > 88.7dB; and total harmonic distortion of < -92.5dB.
The standard -3dB bandwidth is > 250kHz.
Each channel has its own 500kHz ADC for simultaneous sampling, together with eight voltage ranges from +/-50mV to +/-10V, a programmable offset of 100 per cent and input impedances of 50 Ohm or 1 MOhm, allowing each channel to be individually configured for the signal source.
The UF2e-473x scope cards can be customised with hardware options to match the application.
