Lablogic Systems is repeating last year's part-exchange offer for the Beta-Ram 4 flow-through radio HPLC detector and including a trial supply of liquid scintillation cocktail into the bargain.
Until the end of December radiochromatographers can trade in their old radio detector for the current Beta-Ram 4 model.
As part of the upgrade, they will also receive four litres of Flowlogic 1:1 radio HPLC scintillation cocktail, which provides a high sample uptake and is biodegradable.
The Beta-Ram is able to accommodate the demands made by fast LC methodologies.
It combines ultra-low backgrounds (<4cpm for 3H and <1cpm for 14C) with counting efficiencies of >60 per cent and >90 per cent respectively.
The features of the Beta-Ram 4 include a flow cell identification system to meet GLP requirements, and a sensor that prevents over-pressure build-up by tripping out above a pre-set point.
