BFi Optilas will sell Bright Solutions' lasers and laser diodes in west European countries as a result of an agreement between the two companies.
Bright develops and manufactures diode pumped solid state lasers and high power fibre-coupled laser diodes for industrial, medical, aerospace and scientific applications.
Available products include: BDLs (bright diode lasers), which are high power fibre-coupled laser diode modules (10 to 180W output power, 790 to 1900nm wavelength range, 100um to 600um fibre core diameter); the Luce Q-Switched DPSS laser (air cooled, 4-30ns pulse width, up to 30W, 100kHz, 150kW peak power, available at 1064nm, 532nm); and the Wedge high peak power DPSSL, a rugged and compact air-cooled laser (500ps to 3.5ns pulse duration with peak power of 2MW, up to 3 kHz and 2mJ per pulse, available at 1064nm and 532nm wavelengths).
The agreement covers Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
