Metrohm has developed a coulometer-attachment that reduces the health and safety implications of using methanol-containing reagents.
The 700 Dosino attached to the 831 or 756KF coulometer siphons off the contents of the coulometric cell and fills it with fresh reagent.
As the KF vessel remains closed, the cell contents are not exposed to the environment, improving safety.
Because no humidity can enter the system, the analysis cell is conditioned again in a minimum amount of time, even after a complete reagent change.
The reagent exchange feature is available as standard with all 831 and 756 coulometric KF titrators and with the 774 Oven Sample Processor.
