Metrohm has released the 831 Karl Fischer (KF) coulometer to determine water contamination in turbine oils.
This economical KF coulometer includes the titration cell with diaphragm for water determination right down to trace levels.
No sample preparation is required - the instrument is started and 4-5g of the oil is injected into the coulometric cell.
The water content is then displayed on the screen.
It is reliable, and features a backlit graphical display, multilingual dialogue and easy operation.
The clear display provides information about the relevant titration parameters, and gives an unmistakable presentation of the course of titration in the form of a curve showing micrograms of water against time.
