Intertek has had its laboratory in Mumbai accredited by India's Spices Board.
The Spices Board registration certifies Intertek's AFPE laboratory in Mumbai as able to provide analytical laboratory testing services for physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of spices and spice products to Spices Board standards.
The government-run Spices Board oversees the Indian spice industry and aims to increase India's spice exports by setting standards and requirements that increase the quality of spices.
