The Pittcon 2009 Exposition, set to take place on 8-13 March at McCormick Place South, Chicago, will showcase 1,000 exhibitors that manufacture, distribute and market products for laboratory science.
The exposition will highlight the latest analytical and spectroscopic technologies and innovations for areas including, but not limited to bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical science and drug discovery chemistry, nanotechnology, environmental analysis, forensics, food analysis, and homeland security.
The exposition is international in scope with approximately 19 per cent of the exhibiting companies headquartered in a variety of countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, and the UK.
The 673,000ft2 exposition floor will include 2,244 booths, 43 seminar rooms, two complimentary mixers, and four specialised areas - New Exhibitor, Life Sciences, Laboratory Informatics, and the Green Corner, which features exhibitors who offer environmentally friendly products and services.
This year, Pittcon will be welcoming 122 new exhibitors.
