'Histological Stains at a Glance' shows the properties and applications of 15 common histological stains.
The poster (594 x 841mm) lists the abbreviated and full names of stains in alphabetical order.
It links a description of the stains with a list of the tissue types for which they are used.
Micrographs show how the stain should look when correctly used in example tissues.
A large map shows the location of these sample tissues in the body.
A table explains how the stains colour different cell-types and sub-cellular structures.
The poster is designed for busy pathologists and complements Olympus's pathology imaging products such as microscopes, digital cameras and digital virtual microscopy software.
