A Christmas raffle organised by Randox has raised more than GBP1700 for a village in Uganda.
Randox Laboratories is an international clinical diagnostic solutions company.
A team of local volunteers from Killead, Loanends and Dundrod, representing the Fields of Life organisation, will travel to Uganda to build new classrooms, sanitation facilities and a water borehole for clean, safe drinking water.
The group consists of a building team, an educational team and a medical and dental team that will carry out screening on the 500 school-children.
