Lablogic will exhibit its LIMS and chromatography software for the pharmaceutical metabolism industry at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology (15-19 March 2009, Baltimore, US).
At the accompanying Toxexpo exhibition, visitors will be able to sample the latest releases of Lablogic's Debra LIMS for ADME studies and Laura radio-chromatography management system.
Debra 5.7 includes a new module for all types of protein binding assay - equilibrium dialysis, ultrafiltration, ultracentrifugation and blood cell association, as well as calculation of non-specific binding and time to equilibrium experiments.
Preparation of stock solutions and analysis and calculation of the initial spiked plasma concentration means all data associated with the assay is recorded within the database.
It also displays calculations of bound and free percentages to show how results have been reached.
Laura 4 has been improved by the Measurement Queue and Batch facility, which makes it possible to: insert samples into the middle of a batch; clone samples to run them again; change the order of samples in a batch; and pause the measurement queue while adding batches, to avoid unnecessary solvent use.
Sample lists can be imported and exported to and from the user's LIMS system, Microsoft Excel or other programs.
Measurement queues can be started remotely from an office PC.
