Anton Paar has released the MKT 50, a two-channel platinum resistance thermometer.
The PRT inputs have a measuring range of -260C to +960C with an accuracy of 0.001C and a resolution of 0.0001C.
The MKT 50 can be mains or battery-powered.
Typical battery life is in excess of 10 hours, making it suitable for use in the field.
Among the many features are ITS-90 and IEC751 temperature calculation and a measuring principle to avoid thermal EMF and zero-point drift.
Integral RS232 and Ethernet ports simplify data-collection and transfer.
A range of PRT sensors is available and the instrument uses industry-standard locking connectors so the operators can use their own sensors.
The MKT 50 and sensors are available DKD-certified if required.
The MKT 50 can be used as a reference thermometer or for fixed-point calibration of temperature sensors.
