Labtronics has announced enhancements to the Nexxis application development platform, a tool for deploying, managing and executing laboratory informatics applications.
Nexxis gives developers an environment that takes care of the core requirements of laboratory informatics applications, reducing the amount of time that is required for implementing and supporting new applications.
This latest release features: upgrades to the application framework tools; form designer and display updates; control enhancements including text entry, combo boxes, lists and image display; increased management and visibility of license usage; and centralisation of integration with SDMS (scientific data management systems), creating a 'configure once, use often' environment.
Integration parameters that are configured centrally can be used by any applications running on the Nexxis platform.
