Labtronics has released the latest version of the Pipette Tracker, Pipette Tracker Pro, and Pipette Tracker Pro+ software.
This latest release is designed to enhance the speed, instrument interfacing, calculations, documentation and calibration check management capabilities of all three versions of the software.
Pipette Tracker users will be able to show that their pipettes and volumetric devices are dispensing within specifications.
Version 3.3 complies to the ISO 17025 standard.
It automatically calculates and includes the expanded uncertainty or BMC (best measurement capability) specific to the standards used for a calibration test.
All information such as standards identification and next calibration due dates are stored with the calibration run data for complete traceability.
The release offers features to allow the user to perform the calibration tests of other devices and equipment.
For externally calibrated devices, the system can import calibration certificates, update a device's calibration status and the next due date will be automatically scheduled.
After accounting for uncertainty or BMC during 'in tolerance' and 'out of tolerance' cases, the software can automatically prompt the user as to whether or not to 'pass' or 'fail' this calibration or 'cancel' in order to 'redo' samples.
The test points in question are displayed in a table within this message in order to quickly identify and decide on the questionable results.
The software now uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express as its default database and includes significant speed enhancements for both SQL Server and Oracle installations.
Users can view and interact with sample results from the chart, which also displays the upper and lower tolerance limits and graphs each sample for the test point.
During the calibration, if a sample needs to be redone, simply select it and hit the 'redo' button.
Version 3.3 also features an expanded library of report templates.
