The Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy has announced the 2009 recipients of the Pittsburgh Conference Memorial National College Grants.
The PCMNCG 2009 awardees are: Allegheny College, Alice Deckert and PJ Persichini, chemistry department; Brenau University, Dr S Randolph May, mathematics and science department; Concordia College, Mark Jensen, chemistry department; Dominican University, Robert Faltynek, natural sciences department; Green Mountain College, Susan Sutheimer, natural sciences department; Gustavus Adolphus College, Dwight R Stoll, chemistry department; Marian University, Dr Abbey Rosen, chemistry department; McLennan Community College, Winfred Watkins, science department; Northcentral Technical College, Frank Fernandes, science department; Northwestern College, Dave Arnett and Karissa Carlson, chemistry department; University of New England, Jerome Mullin, chemistry department; and Warren Wilson College, Stephen F Cartier, chemistry department.
Grants are awarded to small college science departments for the purchase of scientific equipment, audio-visual or other teaching aids, and/or library materials for use at undergraduate level.
