Olympus has revealed that the laboratory at the City Children's Polyclinic #121 in Moscow has installed the AU5400 high-throughput clinical analyser to increase efficiency.
In 2004 the laboratory installed an Olympus AU2700, which resulted in faster turnaround of clinical chemistry test results and enhanced reliability.
Due to an increase in workload, the laboratory installed the AU5400 analyser.
It is hoped that three million clinical chemistry tests will be run on the AU5400 alone.
Olympus claimed that its analysers have become the preference of the laboratory assistants due to their ease of use and comfortable design.
