Phoenix Software has announced that the Living Database has been installed by SUSS Microtec, a supplier of process and test equipment for the semiconductor industry, at the MST factory in Dortmund.
MST factory Dortmund serves as a centre of excellence providing technical infrastructures in the field of micro and nano technology.
The system by Phoenix Software has been selected by SUSS Microtec to be delivered as part of its CB8 wafer bonder, a semi-automated wafer bonder designed for advanced Mems manufacturing and 3D wafer bonding.
Twan Korthorst, chief executive of Phoenix Software, said: 'The result of the implementation of the Living Database is that all relevant information is up to date, in real time and uniformly available for everybody at any place to make faster and better decisions.
'We reviewed several vendors and selected Phoenix Software because of its speed, knowledge and flexibility,' he added.
