Quantitech is offering the Gasmet DX-4030 portable FTIR gas analyser for hire.
The DX-4030 employs FTIR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) analysis, which produces almost instantaneous readings for multiple compounds across a measurement range that extends to sub-ppm levels.
Quantitech's Dr Andrew Hobson said: 'With the DX-4030, no sample preparation is needed; the sample gas is drawn into the analyser module by a sampling wand, which has a built-in particle filter.
'The whole system is battery operated with an operating time of several hours and it can be used for analysis of workplace and process gases in applications as diverse as contaminated land, chemical spill response and industrial hygiene.'
