Labtronics has announced the release of validation toolkits that reduce the time and resources required for validation of the latest versions of Pipette Tracker Pro and Pipette Tracker Pro+.
Included in each of the validation toolkits is an Excel spreadsheet template with a built-in macro that automatically verifies all file names, sizes and version numbers required and installed by Pipette Tracker.
In a few seconds, all installed files, sizes and version numbers are automatically compared to the expected files and recorded in the spreadsheet.
Any files that do not match the expected size or version are highlighted.
The results from the file verification spreadsheet can be copied and pasted directly into the IQ test script file verification table.
Each validation toolkit also includes detailed IQ and OQ documents that reduce the amount of time validation teams spend compiling the information required to initiate and execute a thorough IQ/OQ validation of these applications.
IQ documents provide a detailed listing of hardware requirements, step-by-step descriptions of software installation procedures and a listing of all required files showing the expected filename, size and version number.
OQ documents include detailed testing procedures that guide the user through verification of system setup, run-time procedures, calculations and so on.
Pipette Tracker Pro is a software program with built-in security, audit trail and e-signature capabilities that schedules pipette and device calibrations, carries out the calibration tests, stores results and generates reports.
The Pro+ version adds the ability to use multi-channel balances for pipette calibrations such as the Mettler MCPs or Sartorius Speedcals.
