13 October 2009 - Cancer Research Technology (CRT) and Pharminox have announced that CRT has granted Pharminox an exclusive worldwide licence over its programme targeting telomeres and telomerase. 11 September 2009 - The NCRI Informatics Initiative has appointed two members of the public, Julie Clifton and John Rouse, to its board to represent the views of people with cancer.
They will ensure that patients are considered at every stage of biomedical research data management, including how it is collected, how it is stored and how it is used.
5 May 2009 - Cancer Research Technology (CRT) and the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) have announced a major research collaboration with Astrazeneca.
The three partners will combine their expertise to discover and develop potential anti-cancer drugs to target molecular ‘chaperones’ that support the growth of cancer cells.
