During this competition, lab technologists as individuals and teams can test their pipetting skills and win medals for precise liquid dispensing.
Participants can also receive coaching from Artel experts on optimal pipetting technique to better compete in the event and improve lab skills.
The Pipetting Olympics is a hands-on component of Artel's suite of training tools designed to meet the increased demand for pipette operator competence in clinical laboratories.
At AACC, Artel will also be highlighting some of its tools for boosting operator proficiency.
Artel Pipette Tracker software can be used with the Artel PCS pipette calibration system as a laboratory management tool to track and monitor pipette operator competence and schedule corrective training sessions.
This software can also track individual pipettes, automate data collection during calibrations, facilitate calibration scheduling, and generating the necessary reports to remain in compliance.
Artel's Pipette Quality Management Certification programme is a training seminar designed for laboratories facing heightened regulatory compliance, working to improve internal processes for managing pipettes, or establishing an internal pipette quality assurance programme.
The seminar covers such topics as regulatory compliance, pipette repair and maintenance, and calibration technologies.
Artel also offers pipetting technique resources on its website, which includes videos, lab reports, white papers and poster presentations.
