Image Solutions (ISI) has announced that its E-Solutions Conference will be held at Hotel Arts, Barcelona, on 29-30 September 2009.
This year's theme will be 'Accelerating Change in the New Research-and-Development (R and D) Paradigm'.
ISI is creating an agenda based on one simple principle: leaders learn from other leaders.
With this in mind, the 2009 programme will incorporate more intimate panel and think-tank style discussions, interactive exchanges with question-and-answer sessions, and keynote speeches by some of industry's most recognised leaders.
At the event, industry experts will come together to present insights on how companies are fundamentally changing their operating models to respond to today's challenges, supported by evidence from real-world case studies, to help regulatory teams respond to the challenges of new R and D paradigms.
These include: working within a collaborative model to get therapies through regulatory approvals; consolidating pipelines in an age of mergers, acquisitions, and other types of collaborative partnerships; managing and tracking submissions around the world and through their lifecycle; outsourcing to improve productivity and gain competitive advantage; understanding complex and changing submission standards across the globe; and transitioning to a globally integrated enterprise.
In addition to the continuous networking opportunities that will be facilitated across the two days, a special conference event is scheduled for the evening of 29 September at the Pablo Picasso Museum.
