The Pirani sensor VSP 3000 from Vacuubrand is a fine vacuum sensor with good corrosion resistance and mechanical robustness.
Designed for applications in chemistry laboratories and process engineering, the VSP 3000 benefits from a ceramic-encapsulated measuring element; an embedded reference element for temperature stability; and wetted parts made out of high-grade chemically resistant plastics.
This technology means that the VSP 3000 is a highly shock-proof sensor that will even survive in the event of sudden gas bumping - a typical cause of failure for standard sensor filaments.
The Pirani sensor VSP 3000 from Vacuubrand can be used in conjunction with both the DCP 3000 vacuum gauge and the CVC 3000 vacuum controller respectively and offers full chemical resistance in the measuring range from atmosphere down to 10-3 mbar, and the possibility of accurate two-point vacuum control within this extended range.
In addition, up to four external gauge heads can be connected simultaneously to the DCP 3000 vacuum gauge for easy and cost-effective multi-point measurement.
With small flange connection KF DN 16 at the gauge head and a screw-in hose nozzle for DN 6 to DN 10, the sensor offers flexible connection options for existing vacuum apparatus.
Finally, the Vacuubus system also allows cable extensions up to 30m, enabling remote application usage.
