Intertek has announced that it is to highlight its key chemical industry services at Chemspec Europe in Barcelona, Spain, on 17-18 June 2009.
These services include a keynote overview of Reach (registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemical substances), analytical laboratory services to the chemical laboratory in Spain, and laboratory outsourcing.
Intertek services support the growing requirements of the Spanish, European and global chemical industries for laboratory services, consulting and regulatory support.
Expertise includes global chemical testing and research-and-development services, laboratory outsourcing, industrial inspection, infrastructure support, hazardous environment certification, vendor compliance, health-safety-environmental (HSE), and more.
During the launch event on 17 June, Dr Ruud Overbeek will present new Reach services for Spain and the region.
Intertek offers an effective Reach programme to assist Spanish companies in understanding and fulfilling their responsibilities while ensuring their business continuity.
Dr Christian Gimenez will present an update on the growing range of Intertek laboratory services available for the chemical industry in Spain.
'Speciality Chemicals Magazine' will distribute a special edition during Chemspec, which includes an in-depth analysis from Dr Andrew Swift of Intertek on laboratory outsourcing for the chemical industry in today's challenging economic environment.
