The Pittsburgh Conference has issued its Call for Topics for the Pittcon 2010 Conferee Networking Sessions, to be held 28 February - 5 March at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida.
For full consideration, topics must be received by 17 July 2009.
Topics may only be submitted electronically via the Conferee Networking link at Pittcon's website.
The Pittcon Conferee Networking Committee will review the submitted topics and selections will be completed by 21 August 2009.
Final session-topics will be posted to the Pittcon website in early September.
The Pittcon Conferee Networking Sessions are free to all registered attendees and provide an open forum to establish new friendships, alliances and communications in a small, informal venue with an average of 15-18 participants in each session.
The sessions provide an environment where conferees come together to discuss topics of mutual interest or solve problems specific to certain instrumentation or procedures.
Conferee Networking Sessions first appeared on the Pittcon programme in 2007, with eight sessions that included topics in analytical chemistry, forensics and research and development.
In 2008, due to their overwhelming success, the sessions were expanded to 27 and new disciplines, such as environmental and LIMS, were introduced to add variety and appeal to a broader audience.
At Pittcon 2009, there were 35 sessions, including the most popular selections from previous years and new topics in the areas of bio-fuels and analytical chemistry.
