Labtronic has announced that Knowledgetree, a component of Labtronics' Nexxis SDMS, fully meets the needs of customers working in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment.
Under the direction of Tom Curtis, vice-president of product innovation, Labtronics, the company conducted a thorough technical review of Knowledgetree Commercial Edition to ensure that it would meet 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements for customers in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.
'We were impressed with the security and audit trail capabilities that were already in place in Knowledgetree,' said Curtis.
'The only area where our team found room for enhancement was in the ability to provide electronic signature challenges at key points in the application,' he added.
Knowledgetree acted on Labtronics' recommendation to incorporate the inclusion of configurable electronic signatures as a new feature in the release of Knowledgetree 3.6.1, which became available on 10 June.
