Integra, a specialist in laboratory liquid handling, has announced developments to the characteristics of its Pipetboy pipettor range.
The company has now introduced a Pipetboy stand, allowing users to 'park' their pipettors with inserted pipettes.
The Pipetboy can be used with plastic or glass pipettes with volumes of 1ml to 100ml.
Finely regulating pipetting is achieved by applying varying finger pressure to the operating buttons and by adjusting the pump speed.
Pipetboy is powered by a high-performance NiMH battery that alerts its user when it needs recharging.
To avoid contamination from accidentally aspirated liquids, Pipetboy is protected by a filter.
It comes in several different colours so that users can assign the pipetting aids to particular applications or users, thereby avoiding mix-ups.
