18 September, 2009 - Corning has announced that it has acquired all the shares of Axygen Bioscience and its subsidiaries from American Capital for approximately USD400 million (GBP242 million).
Axygen is a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality life-sciences plastic consumable labware, liquid-handling products and bench-top laboratory equipment with operations in the US, France, Poland and China.
