New Era Pump Systems has introduced the NE-4000 Double syringe pump, a member of the NE-1000 family of pumps.
The product includes infusion and withdrawal capabilities with accurate delivery of nanolitre, microlitre and milliliter flow rates.
The NE-4000, fully programmable pump infuses and withdraws two different-sized syringes simultaneously, up to 60ml.
These pumps can dispense continuously at a fixed pumping rate, as low as 1nl/hr with a .5ul syringe, or as high as 127.3ml/min with a 60ml syringe.
The product enables the user to programme up to 41 pumping phases that change pumping rates, set dispensing volumes, insert pauses, control and respond to external signals and sound an alarm.
Gradient pumping and increased programme-memory options are available.
The pump operates as a standalone instrument, via a computer or with other lab equipment.
