Malvern Instruments is to hold a webinar entitled 'Measurement of Branching In Polysaccharides' on 29 September 2009.
During the webinar, experts from Malvern will demonstrate the benefits of gel-permeation/size-exclusion chromatography (GPC/SEC) with triple detection using the Viscotek TDAmax, for this class of polymers.
Interested parties can register for the webinar at Malvern's events website.
For those unable to attend, a recorded version will be available shortly after the live event.
The webinar presentation outlines a methodology that provides complex polymer branching information as well as molecular weight distributions for large molecules such as polysaccharides.
The Viscotek TDAmax is a fully integrated triple-detector array that includes a four-capillary differential viscometer and refractive index detector as well as a low-angle light scattering detector.
Enabling absolute molecular weight measurements without extrapolation or correction, as well as molecular size and intrinsic viscosity, the TDAmax delivers data on sample structure, conformation, aggregation and branching.
