Bio-Rad Laboratories is offering a free educational webinar, 'Electroporation: Opening the Door to Primary Cell Transfection', on 6 October, 2009, at 10am.
The webinar is for any researcher using, or considering using, transfection for their research.
The upcoming webinar will help researchers understand the theory behind cell transfection, particularly primary cells, and apply that theory to improve transfection and maintain cell viability.
Discussion topics will include: what transfection methods work best for specific cell types; how electroporation works and what factors affect it; why electroporation is the method of choice for transfecting primary cell lines; key parameters that need to be optimised to succeed in electroporation experiments; and a review of case studies by Bio-Rad's research and development scientists.
An archive of the webinar will be available through Bio-Rad's website.
Bio-Rad will provide additional transfection educational materials that will be available on its website and researchers are encouraged to visit the site regularly for updated information.
