9 November 2009 - VTT is reforming its operations, which, from the beginning of 2010, will be formed of three subsidiaries and several affiliated companies participating in technology transfer.
The new structure - VTT Group - is intended to increase the impact of the company's scientific results. It will also improve VTT's ability to produce efficient and flexible services for its customers and partners. 26 October 2009 - Prof Pierangelo Metrangolo has been nominated as research professor for the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in the field of molecular recognitions.
