15 March 2010 - Roche Diagnostics has purchased assets from Biomicro Systems for all products associated with the Roche Nimblegen microarray workflow.
These assets include the Nimblegen hybridisation systems (both four- and 12-bay models) and array accessories covering all mixers designed for the Roche Nimblegen high-density microarray portfolio. 8 December 2009 - Roche Diagnostics has opened a west-coast customer training centre in Pleasanton, California. The centre has been launched as part of an initiative to make training on diagnostic equipment more accessible to hospitals on the west and east coasts.
It will house the latest Roche instrumentation used for molecular diagnostics and clinical chemistry/immunochemistry testing, and will be managed by Roche's Indianapolis-based training team, which co-ordinates training for all US customers.
