Labtronics has announced that Limslink now includes Nexxis SDMS, a web-based scientific data management system that provides laboratories with secure central storage and retrieval of scientific data.
This combination is said to give laboratories a fully automated process for storing raw instrument data and instrument reports in a fully searchable scientific data management system (SDMS) at the same time that sample results are being automatically transferred to Lims.
Using the systems, researchers are able to capture any instrument's raw data or reports, as well as automatically extract metadata from raw files or reports, without any custom programming.
They can automatically extract sample results for reporting to Lims or other informatics applications, and automatically save raw data and metadata in Nexxis SDMS and send sample result data to Lims and ERP.
Researchers can perform Google-style searches of all instrument data, and use Nexxis SDMS as a lab document management system for other documents such as SOPs.
Limslink also supports this functionality for other third-party SDMS and ECM systems.
