Kelsius has been selected by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, North Bristol NHS Trust and Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to implement its web-based alarming solution.
Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust is deploying the Kelsius web-based monitoring and alarming solution in the Leeds General Infirmary, Chapel Allerton Hospital and Wharfedale Hospital.
North Bristol NHS Trust will deploy the Kelsius solution throughout all pathology labs in its Southmead Hospital.
The Trust favoured Kelsius due to its range of functionality and the benefits of Kelsius's software as a service.
The Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is deploying Kelsius throughout 13 departments in its new teaching hospital.
Kelsius will be deployed over a large geographical area incorporating 13 departments giving the trust complete visibility of all monitoring points with the information being accessed from anywhere in the trust via the Kelsius web portal.
Kelsius is said to offer a number of advantages.
No drilling of walls is required for cabling, and information can be accessed from anywhere via the internet.
Additionally, the individual trust's IT departments do not need to maintain the system, nor will they have to purchase any additional PCs or servers.
