Cannon's new portable viscometer has been specifically designed for industrial users in non-laboratory environments.
The SimpleVIS provides kinematic viscosity measurement and is suitable for a range of oils, including mineral, synthetic and formulated motor/gear oil.
The viscometer has a rapid cycle time of three minutes and a viscosity range of +40C: 10-700mm2/s (cSt) and 100C: 5.5-200mm2/s (cSt).
Dark/opaque liquids can be measured with the same precision as transparent fluids without the need to change tubes.
The SimpleVIS features a graphical touch screen; it does not have any additional gauges or valves to adjust.
It is fully self contained and does not need to be connected to an external computer.
The SimpleVIS occupies a small footprint of 128 x 356 x 304mm.
