Biochrom's Anthos 2010 Microplate Reader is suitable for running routine microplate absorbance assays.
The Anthos features fur filters covering the wavelengths for most common absorbance assays with a colorimetric endpoint, for example BCA, Bradford and Lowry assays.
Additional filters are available.
A choice of software packages enables the user to connect to a PC and easily run both endpoint and kinetic assays.
Results can be printed directly or exported to a spreadsheet for further analysis.
Anyone ordering the Biochrom Anthos 2010 before the end of June 2010 will receive a free software upgrade to program the plate layout with blanks, standards and controls.
This allows the user to perform qualitative analysis on the results or quantify unknown samples using a standard curve, eliminating outliers.
