Andor Technology is to demonstrate its flexible range of microspectroscopy solutions at SPIE Photonics Europe.
Combined with the company's CCD, ICCD and EMCCD cameras and spectrographs, the modular microscopy set-ups allow a combination of ultra-fast, highly sensitive microscopy imaging and spectroscopy.
One of the key components is the Andor Shamrock spectrograph wide-aperture slit.
Only one detection set-up with a single camera is required to image samples while allowing spectral information collection through the same optical path from a microscope.
The modular range is said to be performing well with Andor's Newton and Ixon+ EMCCD cameras, allowing weak Raman or photoluminescence signal collection, down to single-photon sensitivity.
This Andor solution is said to offer the benefits of an all-in-one imaging and spectroscopy setup, including C-mount interfacing to all major microscopes, seamless kinematic mounting of a range of accessories and endless configurations with dedicated Thorlabs cage systems interfaces.
