Comparison data for Wilks' Infracal Ethanol and Biodiesel Blend analysers and Infraspec VFA-IR spectrometer has been released for use in laboratories, production facilities or distribution centres.
The Infracal Ethanol Blend analyser was tested against an Oxygenate Flame Ionization Detector (O-FID) with comparable results.
The Infracal Biodiesel (FAME) Blend analyser and Infraspec VFA-IR spectrometer were compared to an FT-IR using EN 14078 and ASTM 7371 methods.
In all tests, which were carried out by independent laboratories, the results obtained with the Wilks instruments were at least equal, if not better.
This data indicates that the Infracal Ethanol and Biodiesel Blend analysers, as well as the Infraspec VFA-IR spectrometer, do provide results comparable to EN 14078 and ASTM 7371 methods.
These rugged, portable instruments provide measurement data in less than one minute.
