Bioo Scientific has announced the availability of the patent-pending All-Tail Kit, which may be used to develop novel diagnostic indicators of disease.
The kit incorporates a rapid and sensitive procedure to enable the size and sequence analysis of the poly(A) tail and 3' UTR sequence of a specific mRNA within a pool of total RNA.
The All-Tail Kit contains all of the components needed for the simple, three-hour procedure; ligation of an adenylated linker to the 3' end of total RNA, RT, PCR and gel separation.
The All-Tail Kit can also be used to detect miRNA molecules using a linker ligation technique followed by PCR.
