Gemotest, a provider of laboratory diagnostic services in Moscow, is expanding its central laboratory network by integrating the Isoft laboratory module for microbiology.
After the implementation of the Isoft laboratory information system in 2008, the diagnostics provider is now further expanding its service profile.
Within this new project, Gemotest will install the new Isoft laboratory microbiology module within the network in the central laboratory in Moscow.
In combination with the existing Isoft laboratory components, the results of microbiological analysis will be integrated into the workflow.
This enables Gemotest to extend its services for special laboratory diagnostic examinations.
The flexibility and scalability of the entire laboratory system allows for the implementation of 10 additional analytical devices into the IT environment of the laboratory group as well as the smooth setup of further working stations.
This order enables Gemotest to implement a comprehensive laboratory infrastructure, which provides the necessary scalability to integrate additional devices and locations into the existing IT environment.
The company invested approximately EUR100,000 (GBP83,000) in the expansion of the laboratory IT system as well as for support and system maintenance over five years.
