Autoscribe's Matrix Gemini 5.2 laboratory information management system (LIMS) software has been certified by SAP for integration with SAP PI 7.1 via its NW-XI-CNT 3.0 integration scenario.
The testing, carried out by SAP Labs India, illustrates the ability of Matrix Gemini to integrate into an organisation's IT infrastructure and provide joined-up information and data transfer from one system to another.
SAP certification was a requirement in a recent customer specification document and without the integration certification Autoscribe would not have been able to bid for the order.
John Boother, Autoscribe's managing director, said: 'SAP Certification is a significant factor; it will open up further opportunities for companies to adopt Matrix Gemini LIMS in their laboratories.' Autoscribe's Matrix Gemini systems are supplied with a set of configuration tools that allow further configuration of the system as required.
It offers systems for laboratory information management, sample tracking, instrument calibration and maintenance, stability testing, customer complaints management, support management, training records management and resource planning - all based on its Matrix Gemini software.
