Lablogic Systems has announced that a US/UK contract research laboratory is standardising on Debra 5.7.8, its drug metabolism Lims, as a common platform for its radio-labelled ADME studies.
The company adopted Debra's sample pooling module in a previous release of the software, but also wanted to be able to clone a complete set of study data so that the metabolism and in-life parts could be isolated from each other, keeping the two distinct GLP studies separate and making them easier to monitor.
Debra 5.7.8 also has a feature that allows the contract research organisation (CRO) to pool some biological matrices by using a fixed weight or volume of sample rather than splitting off a percentage in the conventional manner.
Other enhancements include changes to the graphing module - in particular around the presentation of logarithmic time concentration curves and the display of some types of graph; and standardisation of isotope naming in the protocol definition by having a pick list from which isotopes are selected rather than allowing free text entry.
