BFi Optilas has introduced Labsphere's TOCS LED thermal optical electrical characterisation system to enable the simultaneous measurement of the optical and thermal features of LEDs and arrays.
The thermal variances at the LED junction can affect the LED performances in terms of colour, output, lifetime, luminous efficiency and linearity performance.
The LED system consists of a lamp measurement integrating sphere, a high-resolution CCD array spectrometer (spectral range from 360 to 100nm), electrical/thermal plate and temperature controller.
The TOCS system is available in sphere size from 20 to 76in.
The TOCS-SS software is provided with each system.
TOCS LED characterisation systems are used in packaged LEDs, modules and arrays, backlight displays and solid state lighting.
